TABLE TENNIS.

The Winter Season came to a close last week with finals in all grades.

The A Grade final between the Tmaal team of Graeme Shelton, Katrina McPhee and Kym Muller and the Class Act combination of Nigel Wittwer, Garry Fox and Murray Till was expected to be a close match. However Tmaal shot out to a 3-0 lead and Class Act never recovered. Tmaal taking out the match by 6 rubbers to 2.

B1 Grade saw a high standard contest between the Transformers team of Jon Aston, Matthew Bailey and Daryl Lewis and the Batmen trio of Harry Childs, Steve Maynard and Peter Cotton. This match saw many close encounters, however Batmen had the edge taking out the match 8-3.

The new team of Titans, Robert, Paul and Stephen Cotton did very well to get to the final in B2 Grade. They were opposed to the Gargoyles combination of Mick Maynard, Kyle Newlyn and Jason Henke. The experience of Gargoyles seeing them through to a 7-4 win.

In C Grade, The Whackers team of Kane, Blair and Beau Branstone have taken all before them. In the final they were opposed to the 3 Musketeers team of Scott Fartch, Coehen Keppels and Carmel Flynn. The Whackers continued their dominance with a close 6-5 win.

The Junior Grade final showed the improvement of players throughout the season. The Gold team of Jordan, Amy, Phoebe Aston and Josh Jantosh being too strong for the Red team of Sarah Pilven, Frances Touzel, Ellen Beal and Chandler Jantosh winning 6-2.
